In remediation of free oil, for example, the predominant residue is clean water. In recognition of Fiton’s effectiveness after rigorous testing, Fiton has been awarded the only license ever granted for allowance of remediation activity in the waters of the United Kingdom including Scotland. This licenses were granted Fiton by the UK Marine and Fishery Agency and Marine Scotland in 2009.
